AGHA Gifted Brisbane 2026: Dates, Venue and Why Queensland Buyers Should Care


Something genuinely new is coming to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre this October. AGHA Gifted Brisbane 2026 runs from 16 to 18 October in Hall 2, and it marks the first time the Gifted format has landed in Queensland. For retail buyers who have spent years booking flights to Sydney or Melbourne just to source new stock, that is a meaningful shift.

The schedule is straightforward. Friday 16 October and Saturday 17 October both run 9:00am to 5:00pm, while Sunday 18 October wraps up at midday. Three days sounds generous until you see the floor plan. Most buyers will want to block out proper time across all three rather than squeezing a visit into a spare afternoon.

Why now? AGHA has run Gifted fairs in Sydney and Melbourne for years, but Brisbane has never had one of its own. Queensland and Northern Australia have a distinct retail landscape, their own buyer base, and travel budgets that do not always stretch to interstate sourcing trips. Bringing the fair north removes that friction in one go.



The show floor covers a wide spread: homewares, gifts, fashion and accessories, beauty and wellness, kitchen and dining, furniture and interiors, gourmet food, plus tech and gadgets. That breadth matters for smaller operators. A boutique owner hunting homewares can walk a few aisles over and pick up gourmet lines in the same trip.

One thing to note if you are mapping out your October calendar. The BCEC is busy that month, so sort accommodation and travel early rather than leaving it to the last fortnight.
